KHALID, THE NEW RNB

Today i’m gonna talk about a very talented artist that i love, he’s name is Khalid. He was born in 1998 in Fort Stewart Georgia.

First of all, RnB is primarily his style but it’s also a little bit of Pop, Hip Hop and Soul.

He compose, and sing his one piece of music. Khalid began writing and creating music in high school.

He is signed to the Hand Music Group, and RCA Records.

In july 2016 he charted at number two on the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists.

In 2017, he won a VMA Award for the Best New Artist

I think this music is very touching, his voice is sweet, calm but also really rhythmic.

I love the vibe he transmits to us, like a feeling of freedom, self confidence and safety.

He’s most successful songs are : « Location », « Free Spirit », « Talk », « American Teen ».

In my opinion, « Lovely » is his best song. He made a lot of featuring like with Billie Eillish, Hasley, Kane Brown, Logic, Alessia Cara and much more….

His musical inspirations are Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Chance the Rapper, Lorde, Frank Ocean, but in life, his mother is his bigger inspiration.

Khalid is very famous on Spotify, 50,4 million of people listening to his music every month.
