Hello everyone,
I want to start my blog by this big artist, he death one week ago (day of my birthday…) and for me it is very important to have one last thought for him. A geant musician and artist died, I hope nobody will forget him.
Manu Dibango was born in Douala, Cameroon, he was a member of the seminal Congolese rumba groupe African Jazz and has collaborated with many other musicians.

He served as the first chairman of the Cameroon Music Corporation. Dibango was appointed a UNESCO Artist for Peace.
In 1970 his title « Soul Mokossa » meaning ‘danse’ in his native tongue. After he do a lot of title with a different artists. He was very successful, everyone knew him.
Also, he was a radio host for 20 years of Africa Radio. His carreer was mondial, in every country people know Manu Diabango.
This success was because of social media like Youtube. His song can be listening in every country.
He was a engaged singer, notably because he participated at the concert « Libérez Mandela » at « La fête de l’humanité » (a French politic day) in 1985. And in 2018 he was engaged for climate Warning with a lot of different artists.
Manu Dibambo will stay a legend for Jazz music.
