Gregory Porter, a new legend of jazz

Gregory Porter was born in 1971, he started his career in 2010

with his first album after has be chef of restaurant. His first album “Water” was nommed to the Grammy Award for the
best album of jazz. This nomination was springboard for his career, after that he was invited in several festivals, as well as in television and radio programs. He beginning to be famous, people discovered him during these events, and he started to have a loyal public.
In 2012 Gregory Porter does a new disk named “Be Good” he wanted to give authenticity like Bill Wither. With this album he travelled in Europa and it was very important for his international career.
One years after he does a new record, it was composed with a personal song talking about personal topic like: the pain, the motherly love, the wounds caused by injustice and racism.
And in 2014 his third album won again a Grammy Award.
His fourth album was again very successful and again he won a Grammy Award in 2017.
His talent is recognized by all, he is the legend of contemporary jazz. He is appreciated by his voice and his different songs, which provoke a lot of emotion. He is an intriguing artist because he always wears a black cap and a hood following scars on his face. It allowed him to have a unique identity.

Despite his popularity, Gregory Porter is
still very close to his fans, especially thanks to social networks. He has 94.4 k subscribers on Instagram, and he is very responsive. And on Facebook he has
253,946 followers he is present on social networks which allows him to have proximity with his audience.
He doesn't hesitate to thank them with funny videos accompanied by his voice!
